I've got a question for the USAA members here. When the insurance distribution comes around, are you expecting it? Does anything hinge on that?
I ask because I never remember when it is coming and we have no way to know how much it is going to be so I never count on it. With that said, I was thinking that it would be cool when they send out the email telling you what account they are going to deposit into if they would give an option to also select from a list of military focused charities. Imagine how much money could be raised for The Fisher House or Horses For Heroes. What do you think? |

JK I am not setting conditions. I am only saying that The Fisher House could better use the money that I'm not expecting than I can. I can give the money myself, but I was thinking that it would be a cool thing for USAA to handle for us. |
| It always comes in December (or at least mine does), and you do have the option of just having it applied to your insurance payment or receiving a check (there may be other options as well). I don't ever count on it, and it generally gets used for either charitable work, Christmas shopping, or something fun. |
