I don't see a problem with what you did, it's your grip who gives a shit. You must have been real bored hehe. But for the record I hate FDE/OD/ other colored furniture unless it is going along with painting the whole rifle. Like have a tan grip and stock but then spray much the rest of it tan. |

Wow, what the hell was I thinking... =P Bored and slightly tipsy is a bad combo with permanent markers in close proximity. I'm going to hit it with some Krylon and paint it black later on today. I no longer have any other tan furniture, so it actually works out fine. |

I don't see what's wrong with it. Would it have been cooler if he'd sprayed it with Krylon? It may not be the cleanest job, and it doesn't really appeal to me, but I fail to understand what's so terrible about it. The Sharpie will probably rub off after a couple months of use, anyways, and that will be that. I guess it's not tacticool enough. ~Augee |
THIS HOME FLUTING JOB??
|
Hehehehe that's the one, thanks |
Don't laugh Duffy, you know you've been tossing the idea of a home made light weight carbine around. Just think, you could even flute the upper and lower using a dremel

Ha, was just messing with you. The only way I reduce the weight of my rifles is by emptying the magazine |
Oh, you're gonna hate my newest AR. It's going to have FDE furniture on black metal. I'm not taking a can of Krylon to a new LMT unless I have a true need... or if the mood strikes. ![]() I've already got one all-black AR, so want to try something new with the next but still be able to convert it back to an evil BLACK rifle without paint thinner. |
