What's up Everybody,

I recently went to the range and tested out two things my CMMG .22lr kit for my AR, and my new Ruger P95. Both of which performed very well.

First the .22lr kit for the AR. I had a great time and shot for almost 4 hours for under 60 bucks. The kit worked as designed, and worked flawlessly with federal blue or red box. The only place i had issues was with the remington .22's I had 24 FTF's in 80 rds fired, but after i switched to federal everything worked ok and i shot over 500rds of .22lr without an issue. I also got no keyholing, and was extremely accurate to upto 25 yards (it was an indoor range). The only reason why I didn't like it, is because it scuffed up my buffer tube a little bit but no significant harm done. So I give the CMMG .22lr kit an over all 9.7 out of 10. (Federal .22 i think is the best on the market for these conversion kits.)

The Ruger P95 9mm 15rd mag was the next to be tested. This tried and true design from Ruger proved exactly at the shooting range this weekend laying down consistent group from 25,50, and 75 ft. This was my first step down from the 230 grain .45acp, and it was an enjoyable experience to say the least. The pros is its tough SADA traditional setup unlike that of the new xd's and xdm's. I didn't have any issues no FTF's or anything of the sort I ran 250 rds. through it. The only thing is it felt a little clunkier than my xd, but that is to be expected for a pistol that is half the price. Overall it gets a 9 out of 10 because after i picked it up i couldn't set it down it was just a joy to shoot, and another reason why the highmark is because of the value its not bad for a $400 and under pistol.

I tried the Ruger SR9 at the range a couple weeks prior, and i found overall when both chambered in 9mm I enjoy the P95 better because of the trigger, sighting system, and overall bang for the buck. So if you wanna an inexpensive 9mm that's not pretty, but reliable than i'd go with the P95 over the SR9 any day. (If you own an SR9 this is not a derogatory post against the SR9. These are my own personal views, and I advise everyone to please try before you buy. Because what i like, you might not.)

Thanks for readin,

ARDAVE
