Better question is what is Trump doing to declassify reverse engineered alien technology that could benefit the general public. It may happen but nothing of note will be there by then. The .gov does not give the President access to everything like people think. In fact, there are a lot of things that are too secret to let a part time employee in on. The president changes every 4-8 years. You do not give up secrets that have been in development for DECADES to one person on the basis of "I promise not to tell when I am gone!"
Especially in this day and age where the country is so divided on military spending and self defense. If a anti-military anti-american, who is bent on destroying our county is granted all knowledge upon arrival to the white house for 8 years, why wouldn't he tell foreign govts what we had and what we were doing? Surely obama would have! And he probably did on everything he had access to. So, like on National Treasure, some things are just too big to be given to just one person. Some things are bigger in scope than the next year or eight. |
