Thinking of trading a Steyr USR with 9 mags for a Les Baer SRP Comanche 1911 45ACP (commander length). I have to come up with my gun/accessories plus $200 for the deal.

Down side is it's a one way ticket for the Steyr, because I'm in CA and cannot buy another. Upside is I'll shoot the Les Baer more at the indoor range.

I've got a couple of AR's, AK's and HK's.

Should I go for it?

I wouldn't...but, then again, I have Steyr-envy.

I wouldnt. The Steyr just has a cool factor, while a 1911 in .357? Confused?

No way should you do that deal, IMO.

Keep the steyr. In CA, you can't ever replace it.

Uhh....You need to pass on this one. That is not a good deal.

Get a gunsmith to unfuck your AUG, and keep it till you die.

No way. Trade up, not down. Only thing I would trade my NIB USR for is an Aug or an HK94.

USR has some funny stuff on it to make it a sporting rifle in the eyes of the ATF.

Agreed. Unfortunately, those characteristics still can't be legally changed.

Thanks for the response.

If you get rid of that Steyr you should slap yourself. You live in CA...what are you thinking? No way in hell you lose the Steyr.
