There are three Hors Catagory clmbs today, including L'alpe d'Huez.

I've cycled over the Coix de Fer and it's killer climb.

Thanks!

I have been a dormant cyclist for 3 years or so.  Out of the blue, I just rode in the STP (Seattle to Portland), 200 miles.  I had not trained one bit for the ride.  I was in the saddle for A LONG TIME. Sheer pain!

Anyway, thanks for the link.

You must be young!

200 miles is an EPIC ride, training or no training. Congratulations and welcome back to the road.

Thanks.  I get bored watching the online readers do the play by play at velonews, much better to hear the details.

The tours were the only reason to keep my dish, but I finally got rid of it.

The climb up L'alpe d'huez will start in about 5 minutes.

American rider Vande Velde is in the yellow jersey bunch.
