By popular demand, a spin-off from the popular Netflix thread
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1116241_Top-NETFLIX-instantly-available-movies--add-to-the-list-.html The Grand Tour (the three mates that had that wildly popular car show on the BBC, until one of them was fired) |

Good call. I just got rid of Netflix b/c if all their derp. In for suggestions.

I like the Grimm series. there are others but I can't remember right now. I'll be back.

I just started re-watching Band of Brothers after the WWII pic thread in GD.
Man in the High Castle is good, still have to watch Season 2. I also enjoyed Bosch since I've read many of the Michael Connelly books in that series. There is also a Top Gear spin-off type show where they just show the various challenges from past season, it's pretty good, Top Gear Top 40 or something along those lines. |

|
Endeavour, for those who like classical mystery type shows.
The Expanse for those that like Sci-fi. |

I had high hopes and felt that show was such a let down and a whole lot of WTF! SPOILER:So, people can just randomly shift realities and movies just jump from one reality to the next???? View Quote You and me both. I watched it, enjoyed it, and still don't know what the heck was going on. |
|
I have Amazon Prime for shipping (not planning to renew, though), and do they offer any free TV shows from the 70s or 80s? Anything like Rockford Files or Simon and Simon or Night Court?

View Quote Just checked and Night Court is the only one on Amazon, but you gave to pay for each episode. Hulu has both Rockford Files and Simon and Simon available to members. |

There is so much awesome content available for free on Amazon Prime, it's hard to narrow it down to a list.
Having said that, SUPERSHIPS was an amazing series; https://www.amazon.com/Launching-Big-Fat-Greek-Supertanker/dp/B00HQNVR88/ref=sr_1_1?s=instant-video&ie=UTF8&qid=1488080397&sr=1-1&keywords=superships season 1&tag=vglnk-c102-20 Of course, the new version of Top Gear (The Grand Tour) was epic, and even lived up to the high expectations of us die-hard Clarkston/May/Hammond fans! https://www.amazon.com/Enviro-mental/dp/B01J94B90W/ref=sr_1_1?s=instant-video&ie=UTF8&qid=1488080719&sr=1-1&keywords=grand tour&tag=vglnk-c102-20 |

The entire series of Cheers is on Amazon Prime. At least it was...
Is James Bond still on prime? Their front page selection que sucks but if you know the title you can start finding some cool random stuff. A lot of old war shows like the History channel use to have or on. Vietnam HD I think was the last I watched. Also there are a bunch of "how to shoot" training videos on. Those are always interesting. |
|
Watched 13 Hours again last night...and again, had to restrain myself from throwing the remote through the screen several times.
The fact that half our nation willfully ignores what happened, or just doesn't care, scares the crap out of me. |
|
The Op asked about movies and everyone listed TV shows...... LOL this thread is so GD
|
|
I just watched Swiss Army Man
I laughed... I was creeped out... I was eventually disappointed. I'm not sure if I liked it or not... I'm still confused on the matter. Edit - On Amazon Prime. |
|
I've been rewatching Deadwood. Just finished season 1. Going in for season 2.
|
|
Any HBO series that's concluded is usually on there.
Sopranos Band of Brothers The Pacific Deadwood Rome Etc etc |
|
good thread.. too hard to sift through all the netflix posts to find the amazon posts...
