[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Too funny

I was in line at the liquor store a minute ago. A woman in her 20's is ahead of me. She's wearing hiking boots, shorts, a tank top, and designer sunglasses. She's wearing her long brown hair in a pony tail. Her boyfriend walks up to her and starts talking to her.....in an English accent. I had to say "Hey, you guys English?"

"Yeah, mate."

"You know who she looks like?"

Pause. "Go on, then."

"Lara Croft. You know, like the video game?"

awkward silence.

OK maybe this story isn't funny, haha but funny strange. I just found it weird that this chick dressed like Lara Croft standing in line with a 40 of Miller actually turned out to be English.
