Never seen anyone discuss this online or irl . Seems to me it might be pretty weird/homo wacking off in a barrack full of guys. I'm probably enlisting soon and this situation just crossed my mind.

Not yet....I hear that there is a very real problem with the stress and close quarters for recruits to "get it up" during boot.

John

EDIT: Crossed your mind? What were you doing when it crossed your mind?

The BOTD thread

Honestly the longest I've went without doing that or having sex would be a week

Nope...

but I did go into the latrine one time and there was a guy in the stall, his feet were shaking like he was having a seizure and there was some moaning going on. I quickly turn around and left. I felt like yelling, "Hey, you alright in there!"or "HEY, you need to get a room pal!". But at that age, I didn't have the guts to humiliate the guy. So I just made a beeline back to my room and told all my room mates to stay out of the latrine for a few minutes.

One time at band camp...............does that count?

Here is an "Officer safety tip":

1) If you do enlist, don't bring this topic up with the boys...... you will end up hog tied and naked on the deck!

there was a special shitter designated just for that...last one on the end. But I will tell you what, boot camp can screw your plumbing up for a while. I think it took a few days for me to even get a shit out.
Link Posted: 9/21/2004 7:54:13 PM EST
we had open latrines (no stalls) and open bays, so no way.

Until we went on a detail that had a porta poti, that thing had a line!

about two weeks or so in, i had gotten sent back to the "house" to get something.
i had the whole place to myself, and seized the oportunity so-to-speak.

i was fire watch one time, and i saw a dude laying on his back, easily half a bay away, pullin' it....in an open bay with probably a good 60 other guys. he must have been confident that everyone else was asleep.
he saw me and rolled over to hide it. thank god.
never saw or heard of any other instances.

I always thought it was weird to have a Navy bootcamp in the middle of the city. It's not there anymore BTW it is becoming a neighborhood called Baldwin IIRC I think the Hospital is still there though

Only caught brief glimpses of the female platoon during the whole of Basic, even though they were in
the bays above us. It was best that the DS didn't see you staring!
And thinking back on it, in all honesty, my ass was so worn out by the whole experience, Pie was the
last thing on my mind up until the day we graduated.

Now once we got to AIT, that was another story.... two words: CoEd Barracks!

I can't really remember any scary looking ones in my AIT platoon, and it turns out, the big-boobed,
bimbo-blonde representative was the one on Admin Hold due to having been caught in a, umm....
compromising situation, with some of the school cadre...

She was there when we reported, and was still there when we left months later.....

Too true!

In addition, should memory serve me right, I was way too stressed out to be able to get "Private Pud" to stand at attention for a "dishonorable discharge" during boot camp.

I still have flashbacks when I hear someone wash their hands......that "squish, squish" sound.....man, that's all I could hear at night....from what it seemed, like every other bunk.

Well.....when you gotta go, you gotta go!

I leave for RTC Great Lakes on October 6... been wondering about this myself. I must be strong.

Hell no, I didn't.

Combination of open stalls and fear of getting caught!

Basic Ft Sill Ok B 3/321 FA, in December 92, It was so f-ing cold, and the fire alarms went off damn near every morning at 0200, We would stand outside in our P.T. gear, shower shoes, and a wool blanket for 45 min's until the fire dept shut off the alarms... If I did my hand would have froze to my little pee pee.

Now in AIT, I was at Ft. Sam, and if you had to beat off, you were a ugly mother fucker, because if you cant get laid there, you are gay or your pecker is broke!

I never did it and it didn't cross my mind either, even when females were present. However, every time I saw one all I could think about was bending her over and going to town.... You ever see that movie "Love Potion #9" - in that scene when they test the potion and the male chimp smashes through the wall and humps the hell out of the cage the female chimp is in until he passes out from exhaustion?

...And actually trying to initiate something with a female recruit is not something I'd recommend. I figured going for a good looking one would only end up with me playing games with a DI because, she'd be a snob and rat me out. I was horny as hell but, I wasn't going to pork a pig... So I chose a barely "do-able" one......... Regardless of my choice, I still ended up playing all kinds of fun games with a couple DIs.

It's certainly not worth it.

BTW, one day when I went into the latrine to take a leak another recruit was leaning against the urinal with an odd look on his face and he was shaking slightly.

I recall that towards the end of basic there were guys getting up in the middle of the night quite regularly to run to one of the toilet stalls. I don't think it was going on in the beginning..they were just running us too ragged at that point for guys to want anything but sleep.
I didn't do anything at all during the basic phase of OSUT; by the time family weekend rolled around, there was a bit of a build up, one could say.
