Working christmas day sucks. Dead quiet until the domestic violence calls start pileing up.

Heck, the office is boring. I went out and helped the dope guys serve some search warrants just before Christmas, and volunteered to do DWI enforcement on New Year's. Just hope I remember how to do all of that DWI paperwork...

Took me 24 years of working holidays and expecting that it would always be that way, as long as I had the badge on.

So this Christmas and New Years..........I at longggggg last got both days off.........HAPPR HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!

I am a security guard and I work every holiday. I even got to work a 16 hour shift on Christmas. Not the most fun job in the world, but the paycheck will look pretty good and there is always room to move up to better things.

This New Years Eve was by far the worst I've ever worked in my 4 years of being a 5-o.

It was ridculous. I worked 17 hours, and finally was allowed off shift by my division LT at 0500.

I did my first detail for the NYPD.  The tour was from 1400-0230.  I recieved alotta "Thankyou's" and even more "Happy New Years" from some of the most beautiful women in the world.  I only got 1 "get a real job."

I worked traffic by the Crown Plaza Hotel.  I know I'm a rookie, but I had a blast.
