I never get more than three consecutive hours of sleep when I'm "pager bitch." By Sunday I'm a total wreck.

How do you guys survive?

I'm on call Friday to Friday. I cover utilities for 4 counties. I sleep when ever I can.(cat naps). Granted by Monday I question my sanity, by Friday I am ready to Quit and wonder why I took this job.

We're technically on call all night, but production is done by 1-2am, so I have my Blackberry set to shut off at 2am.  If the SAN catches fire after that, I'll put it out in the morning.
