Yes, 600 plus is possible. It helps to use an optical mouse, and crank up ALL your mouse speed and acceleration settings to max.

I only got 45mph but the wrist action was smooth and fluid. I figured there must be something wrong with my ball. So I got out some silicone lube spray and put it on my ball, this made the action smoother. And the little monkey reacted nicely to it.
I can't believe that I wrote that. I guess I should run for office so this could be used against me. |

(some mysterious memory somewhere) Then you paste it "Ctrl-v" into some graphic application like Paint or MS Word. |

It's a bit flaky, most times I get a number in the range of 4-500 mph, but once it hung up and was as low as 54 mph, and once it claimed 1645mph.
I'm using an optical wheel mouse via the PS2 mouse port. Wonder if it would be better via the USB port? Does a higher bandwith connection and or a faster CPU help? If so, my home system ought to fly! |
