Exposed skin at -62F? I hope they weren't out there for more than a couple of seconds.

If you go to the first link the caption says that the thermometer was broken/malfunctioning, and that it was only about -45 out.

Only -45.....

I shot a requal in -25C with a wind chill that knocked it down to -40C..which is damn close to -40F.
the trigger pull was nice and crisp. lol

Spent 3 1/2 years in Fairbanks AK and would go a week without the highs reaching -32. On base at -30 you could plug your car in to power your oil pan heater, battery blanket and interior heater in. I should have never left I hate the heat.
