True story...
Our K-9 handler brought in a beligerent drunk one night for incarceration. Charges were assault, resisting arrest, public intoxication. disorderly conduct... ... well you get the picture. After much effort I was able, with the help of a couple of other officers, to get him secured into a receiving cell.
Once he was secured, the guys says "I could take that f*ck*ng dog, easy!" (They always get brave once they know there's a steel barrier to protect them.)
I looked straight at him and said "Well maybe so, but think about this: if you're wrong and don't take him, you will NEVER FUCK AGAIN!"
The perp looked at me kinda funny, got a concerned look on his face, hand checked his "package", laid down and passed out. Never heard another word out of him for the rest of the shift.
