Sadly, the SPCA kills a huge portion of the animals they take in for "adoption". If you must give up an animal, don't take it a shelter or the SPCA, take it to a breed specific rescue group.
Personally, I think that people who abuse or kill dogs or euthanize dogs that are perfectly healthy should be flogged with a tank track. Either that or have their legs run over with a bull dozer. |
