My cat died last night. We found him this morning. He was 8 years old, had him since he was born. We're not too sure what happened to him, although we know that he didn't have any extra holes in him, so that rules out someone shooting him. He was an outdoor/indoor come and go as you please type of cat. He was regularly checked up on at the vet and such, so he had no known illnesses. All that aside, he was a good cat, great companion, and will definitely be missed.

Edited to add picture.

Looks like one I had for awhile. Mine died pretty much the same unexplained, "it was his time, I guess" way. Just found him dead one day. He was the coolest cat.

Sorry for your loss.

Looks/sounds like your cat had a good life and family

A loss in the family is hard to deal with, and while time helps, it never totally heals.

Sorry to hear it.

SOrry for your loss - I have 9 of the little felons (I mean, felines). This is why I keep mine indoors at all times, too many variables outside.

That's why I have a question or two as to what happened to him. :/

Sorry to hear about your loss, my cat is watching me surf arfcom and I'd be devastated if something happened to her.

No, not another one.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I wonder what happened? I hate the idea that some bottom feeding cocksucker did anything to your cat.

The potential for danger forced me long ago not to let them outside.

Take care.

I had one that was 9 years old. She died this past spring. She was super friendly and could do tricks. She was also a great big-o fat cat. I think she had a heart attack.
