Seems accurate in terms of domestic services provided but it does neglect major differences in how those services are provided and foreign policy. My ideal is that yellow circle at the bottom but it will be a long time, maybe never, before it can be considered realistically.

Same here, but in addition to the yellow.

Black circle. Minarchy!
Anything more we start heading into soft then hard tyranny anything less is a temporary anarchy that will quickly be overtaken by force and become tyranny.

Eta- The circles seem drawn maybe randomly or arbitrarily
I support minarchy but roads and a local FD is not necessarily crossing the line to me. So that could include the green circle.

This illustration is useful in discussions with those who claim that Democrats and Republicans are far apart ideologically.

That's odd that they put "Limited Healthcare" under Conservatism when the Medicare (and SS) is more than the Defense budget.

Is your point that they consider it "limited" despite the cost?

I'm a minarchist or a classical liberal, maybe a mixture of the two.

IIRC Detroit supplied a new change of clothes for hoodrats to wear during job interviews...

I am somewhere in the black and green circles.  I fear that I will live to see the coming of the red circle before I see a return to anywhere near the green or black circles.

Green with an incredibly limited "safety net", with VERY strict terms on length, amount, and most importantly, payback rates.  As much as I believe that this should be provided at a local community and possibly state level (again, very limited and strict), I don't think that is feasible.  Hopefully, given enough time of teaching individual accountability and sense of community, the safety net would no longer be needed.
