And It's back. Sorry that I didn't do this yesterday.
As always, leave out the Gun-grabbers and politics and you're good to go. My Gripe: I had to work last weekend. It wouldn't be so bad if I was Second or Third Shift, but I'm not. I didn't get to bed until 3:00AM Friday night and 2:30 Saturday morning. At least the money was decent.

We are in the middle of union negotiations. They have been working for 2-3 months without a contract, but have not been on strike except for one day last week. Anyway, we have certain non-union folks working in union areas in order to learn the job so they can fill in during a strike or lock-out.I'm one of those people. All I do, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, is sit next to a union guy and watch him work. Zzzzzzzzzz.... I really wish I could actually do some WORK. But that's not allowed. All I can do is watch. ![]() I will say, though, the guys I'm "working" with are pretty cool. They don't like me being there, but they don't hold it against me personally.

I'm off work (7 days on 7 days off), the weather is beautiful, and I'm sick as hell. Woke up the other morning feeling like my lungs were full of gravel. Try to do some stuff around the house but it quickly saps what little energy I have. Did some mowing today and it kicked my butt. So while I'm wasting my off time laid up, work has been calling looking for people to cover for this weekend. Sorry, no can do.
Hopefully it clears up soon so I can salvage a couple days out of my week off. |
| I was supposed to drop the kids off at my parents house to spend the night so the wife and I could have some "alone" time. Just as I was getting ready to leave my parents house, we noticed my 6yrld daughter scratching her head like crazy and we found lice. So the kids came back home and everyone is getting lice treatment. No fun. |

This week my Olde English Bulldogge started waking me up at 2:30 a.m. She's done it three nights out of the past five. She says it's because she has to go out but she won't go back to sleep once she's done her business. And she's impossible to ignore so basically, I can't go back to sleep till she does. |
