I call BS on that.. What about Kalispell MT, where everybody owns at least ONE gun [:D] and theres a population of 125,000 snipers every fall [:D]

That's why I don't live in a "city". Nobody needs to rank the 10 safest rural communities.

Amen to that. I live at least 30 miles from a major "city", & crime out here is (knock on wood) next to nonexistant.

I doubt that there is anywhere in California with a lower crime rate than here: This skyline view of the Greater Fawn Grove Metropolitan Area was taken from my back porch.

After reading the article, I can see how this would be. Apparently, Orange County is the exception to the California lunacy. How about Kennessaw, Ga (a suburb of Atlanta) where everyone is required to own a gun by city law. For their proximity to all the scum in the Atlanta area, they have no crime to speak of. Here is the link to the Orange County story. It is by Neal Boortz. For those of you not in Georgia, Neal is very pro-gun. http://www.sightings.com/general10/safest.htm

Larry G, all this time I thought the low crime rate in Kennesaw was because of "Wildman". You have heard of him, haven't you? BMB

BMB, I do. His name is Dent Myers and I ran cross-country with one of his sons in HS. He is Bent and Twisted, never mind being a Dent. Dave S I was raised in Kennesaw.
