I was at work the other day and someone said, "I wish I had a box that I could just reach into and it made a never ending supply of legit 20's." It got me to thinking, if I could have a Magic box that would produce anything I wanted, but I had to pick one thing, what would it be? I want an ammo box. A box that all I had to do was think "5.56, 5.56, 5.56" or 7.62x39 or .50BMG or whatever, and I can pull out handfuls of it as long as I want, match quality, brass cased, reloadable stuff with any bullet style I want. I told them that I'd want an ammo box, and one of the guys said, "Heh...sounds pretty redneck to me. At least you can spend money." I replied, "Money isn't worth anything. Ammo is. You can trade ammo, you can sell ammo, you can shoot ammo, and if nothing else, it's worth the metal it's made of. An ammo box would be infinitely more valuable than a $20 box." If I had one of those, I'd be selling on the EE for sure -- $100/k milspec 5.56 anyone?  So if you could have a magic box, what would it make? |

A lot of places won't accept 100s. As for me - I'd be out buying pristine C/R guns, and making copies of them. CMP would never run out of Collector Grade M1s.

I thought that as I typed it but I was sure someone would complain if all the box produced was berdan primed, steel cased ammo.
