Got to get yourself a Luger M4. They are great guns. The machining they did to make these is awesome. It fits your hand like a glove. Best natural pointing handgun I've ever held - like pointing your finger. Look for one with all matching parts. Last two numbers of the four digit serial number are stamped various places, like the toggle likes, trigger plate cover, safety, etc. If parts match, then the gun is original. You'll almost never find a matching numbered mag, and if you do, the price will be much higher. BTW, the real serial number, stamped on the frame below the barrel, has a letter after the four digits. When doing the paperwork make sure that the letter is included to avoid potential problems should the gun ever be run through NCIC and come up as stolen because the letter was not included on your paperwork. There are many "1234" S/N Lugers manufactured in say 1918, and if you don't have the exact s/n on your bill of sale, who's to say that gun is really yours or one stolen elsewhere? By all means get one and enjoy! They are fun to shoot.
