Season 4 is starting up in a couple of weeks.
The Last Ship: Season 4 [TRAILER] | TNT I liked the first 2 seasons well enough, but thought 3 was a bit meh. The trailer for 4 isn't really grabbing me, either. |
|
I enjoyed last season a lot because, having tied up all loose ends, they moved the plot along and brought the story arc to an end pretty well.
The trailer I just watched looks like hacknied shit; the show should have ended with the last season. |

Watched the trailer. Looks like it needs less corn and more ship.

So because he killed someone who surrendered he feels like he's lost his honor so now he's a prize fighter?
Seems like an 80's movie. |

Yeah...I wasn't impressed with the ending of season 3. I get wanting to show another side of a typically stoic character, but having CAPT Chandler go out with a pity party was a bit weak, in my opinion.
I wasn't impressed with season 3. If the pilot for 4 sucks (ex. They don't have Chandler clean out his mangina), I'm done. |

I'm pretty sure they didn't read the book that supposedly inspired this show. View Quote |

I liked what I saw of the first season, but I'm not gonna pay $25.00 per season to buy the others. I don't get TNT, so there's that too.
If it ever makes it to Netflix or Amazon Prime, I'll watch 'em all. |

And someone incredibly evil who well deserved to be executed on sight. He should have had a coke when he returned to his ship. View Quote What he did was 100% right from a practical standpoint. I mean seriously...what are you going to do...put her in the brig and waste the resources to feed her? Hope that she'll get put on trial and convicted, when she clearly has a wide range of co-conspirators? What he did was not ethically or legally correct, but it's what most people would have done in that situation. But yeah...seeing that part...my thought was "it's Miller time." |

I'm pretty sure they didn't read the book that supposedly inspired this show. How's everyone liking the new season? I'm a bit meh about it after the first two eps. And while I appreciate Bridget Regan's hotness, I do miss Rhona Mitra. I actually hoped last season that it would be revealed she had into hiding with Tex. |

I watched it when it was on the network. It was OK. Once it went to cable I lost track of it. How did they keep it going for 4 seasons?

So far Season 1 was great and season two ok View Quote |

I remember when back in season 1 everyone was dogging it and how badly it sucked.
I figured Chandler was going to be back with the Nathan James crew last week through his Greek connection. |

So Chandler's humping his way around the Mediterranean and Slattery (Animal Mother from FMJ) is at the helm of the Nathan James? Last week's episodes were an interesting change of pace. We'll see what happens with Episode 3.
There was some scuttlebutt going around last spring that Eric Dane was suffering from depression and production was delayed for a few weeks. Don't know if true or not, but it certainly bounces the needle on my BS-O-Matic. |
