Burs Lee invented (or finally made a useable form there of) hyperklinked documents.

HyperTextTransportProtcol is just one of many services that run on th Internet.

Internet development begain in California in the late 1960, and finally solidified in to what we have today by about 1984.

When they were making the "Internet" they never intended it to be what it has become, which is a gathering of paranoid ideaologists and porn junkies.
