There is a movie named The Legend of Boggy Creek.  I might have posted about it once before but forgot.  Do we have any members here that live around this place or know of it?  To me, that is the scarriest movie ever made.  I saw it when I was a young teenager. Creepy!

I remember that movie.  I saw it in probably 1972 or 73.  Scared me then, too.  I'd like to watch it again and see if it's anything like I remember it.  Probably will be a disappointment.  Maybe I should just leave it as it is...

They use to call it the Faulkner monster.  That was the area it was believed to live in, around Faulkner lake in central Arkansas.  I grew up around there as a kid in the 70's.  I believe that there was a couple of those movies.  The Legend of Boggy Creek and Return to Boggy Creek.  They were both pretty bad, but they were supposedly based on stuff that actually happend.  When I was a kid they would always put all the Bigfoot sighting that happened in the area on the Local news.  It was probably just some really hairy redneck running around up there, but to this day I have a Bigfoot phobia.  I think thats why I got into guns.

Man, when that guy was sitting on the crapper, and the monster reached through the window...

I almost crapped myself.

When you're from Arkansas, the Fouke monster and the Razorbacks are the only two things to talk about...

I know, 'cause I am.

Would you recommend 5.56 or .308 for Razorback and Fouke monster hunting??

That's not the movie about a mud monster thingy is it?

I've been trying to find the name of a movie I saw as a kid that still creeps me out.

I remember a girl cutting off the mud monster's hand and then the hand crawling up some steps to grab her.

When hunting Razorbacks, nothing is very effective up until .308

I say, use a .50
