I sit here choked up after reading the first 14 pages, a detailed account of what happened on the planes that were hijacked that day. My heart aches for those who were lost. Damn those who forget so easily. Every man, woman and middle school child should be made to read, reread and discuss these pages...

Media doesn't want a lot of sheeple getting pissed off. They'll just continue to shove all this under the rug. Anyone that gets pissed (or is still pissed since 9/11) "just doesn't understand the motivations that drove these poor people to do such a thing." 9/11 still burns when I think of it. For too many it's become just another day that "something happened". Fuck them. |
Here, this will freshen you up...

Where might one pick up a copy of the report? Edit: disregard, found it. 9/11 commission report (PDF file) |

Yet, three years later, we are no safer. I can still smuggle a box cutter onto a plane. My last flight, an off-duty pilot in the jump seat opened the cockpit door at least once during the flight. I hate to suggest it, but if passengers were allowed to carry on planes, roughly 3000 poeple would likely still be alive...... |
Just like putting up with the $200 Tax Stamp.... Be Glad we know at least One Name. Never Forget. They were all heroes, some more than others in the eyes of the media (which is all we will hear about), but that does not make them "lesser heros". We are still here, let's try to keep it that way instead of retreating! |
I disagree. A box cutter isn't going to do you a bit of good. After 9/11, passengers aren't just going to sit and wait to die.
Again, I disagree. Flight 93 backs up the notion that had the passengers of the other three planes known what the terrorists had in mind, the takeovers would not have been successful, guns or no guns. The success of the hijackings relied on the naivete of the passengers; it could also be considered the element of surprise. That's now gone. They'll have to do something different to take down more planes. |
