Just found out about this while I was looking up Nathan Fillion (Firefly and Serenity)... He'll be in a movie called Slither which will be written and directed by James Gunn who wrote the screenplay for Dawn of the Dead (2004). It'll also have Michael Rooker (The Replacement Killers, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) and Gregg Henry (Payback, four episodes of 24-season two). Not a bad billing... not top shelf, but what can you expect with a plot like this...
Sounds like it a winner to me. |
Me too... they should be right under the movie forum and religion forum. Try getting that idear passed by the masses... God forbid it might take away from other high-traffic General forums like "Sports Talk".

I'll play. Former Air Force Security Forces (MP) - worked in the base armory so have experience with all man-portable AF weapons and deployables (claymores & LAW's!) Currently the resident firearms expert working police dispatch for a medium size city in Indiana. And I want to destroy undead with a bayonet. |
How about 5. I can be the annoying, scared always-in-the-way IT guy who saves the entire group at the last minute by hacking the Alien Mothership with a Apple laptop.... Err... never mind, wrong movie.

Land of the Dead Trailer ETA: Funny, the music that cues in for the LotD scenes is from the Resident Evil soundtrack. |
Man they have a whole section of thier forum dedicated to zombie fighting tactics!!! Any of you guys registered for the forum over there? Hmm maybe we should AFRCOM army it, could be fun. |
Actually, that's a not-unheard-of practice. I saw an early Gladiator trailer that used part of the Basil Poledouris score from Conan the Barbarian. BTW that's a cool soundtrack if you can find it. Makes you wanna kill stuff from horseback. Poledouris kinda borrowed from Carl Orff (they used his Carmina Burana for The Omen). Lotsa kettle drum, lotsa French horn, lotsa chant-sounding vocals. Sweet. |
There is a little silliness over there, but it's not that bad of a weapons forum, all things considered. I saw a post there that linked to the arfcom thread about making your own tactical sling for under $10. One of the guys was showing off a pretty nice Krink build as well. I'd have one of their T-shirts in a flat second if they sold them in tall sizes. It's hard to find good zombie shirts. |
YES!!!! The answers to the questions we'd all never dare ask here, they are there! |
I haven't seen a Cranium O'Truth yet. |
