I haven't followed them in years and years, hope he's ok and good to know he's still singing!  I thought he was a great front man for the group.

In my opinion, crossing the generation gap is the greatest compliment for musicians.

DAMN I'm old!!!!

I don't have many of their songs, although as a member of the class of '88, they're ingrained in my formative years.  I have a playlist on my iPod "the Cure."
Probably may favorite is "Love Song."

Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, and the one that Cold is on is great too. (Though I like them all, I've been going through their discography on Spotify.)

I had every album they ever made, including imports.  I was a fanboi all the way through 1992 or so.

It's funny, when news broke that they were touring this year, people I hadn't heard from in two decades came out of the woodwork to tell me, and to thank me for introducing them to the band.

I never liked them live, but I can forgive them for that.

I am a fan.  I haven't really listen to much lately.  Their older stuff is still their best.

Any time I listen to Disintegration I think of a girl that I was madly in love with.  She was also madly in love with me.  We met on more than one occasion half way between our homes (she lived in Il and I lived in Tx).  We stayed in bed for 2 days listening to that whole album the entire time.

Am I the only one in the world who is repelled by their fagginess? Not my style, not at all, but everyone in my generation seems to think they are great.

My sister blasted shit on her stereo that I hated at the time.

The one she played that I learned to appreciate was The Cure.

Well, Frank Zappa too.

And never, ever forget...
