I started doing a ton of research on where to go, we were going to 2 different protestant Churches. 1 Saturday night, and 1 Sunday morning. I found my self in Catholicism and started going to daily mass and still the Protestant Churches with my wife and kids. My wife started seeing a therapist and psychiatrist and got diagnosed with trifecta adhd and severe depression.they started prescribing medication for her and some of it started helping a little. Then my wife had a bad episode of depression. She felt like God was telling her to kill herself. She's not suicidal at all, she texted me when I was at work and asked for me to lock the guns up. She said she is not suicidal but doesn't want to get to the point where she is and have them available. She understood how people could do it when before she never understood it. This shook me to my core and I went home and locked all the guns in the safe, she isn't able to open the safe. At this time I wasn't praying the Rosary yet but I was watching a lot of Gabiafterhours on YouTube and he is big on 4 Rosaries a day. The next day I started praying 4 rosaries a day for my wife with the intentions that she be blessed with happiness and love. The next day my wife started getting a lot better and as the weeks went by even better. I've been doing 3-4 Rosaries a day for her since and we are coming up on almost 9 months. I have never seen my wife so happy or have so much love and it is growing everyday. Even with her family disowning her for leaving Mormonism amd struggling with her belief in God.Thanks be to God and our Blessed Mothers intercession. She has been doing multiple Rosaries a day now as well and is feeling a draw to our Lady. She is enjoying Mass and going through OCIA with me for an Easter Baptism. Beautiful story, brother! God Bless you and your family. The Rosary is one of the most beautiful traditions of the Catholic Church. God led me into the Orthodox Church but I love my Catholic brothers and sisters. When I see hate and heresy reviled at the Church I find it truly disgusting. |

I was relieved to hear from our daughter this afternoon that their parochial school will have local police at the Mass. Lord have mercy. |

When I first left Mormonism, Daniel's Channel was one of the first that I found. I went through almost his entire library before studying Catholicism. He definitely has a lot of issues with Catholicism and has a lot of videos on it. Im glad to see that Joe is responding to him and hope he does more. God Bless |

God Bless That's great to hear, it's definitely good to hear all sides and make an educated decision instead of an emotional one. It's amazing to me now, how obvious the theological blinders are in regards to these protestant apologists, and how looking back I couldn't see the truth when I had them either. It's like this cascade of misinterpretations that unravels the entire thing and you end up having to do all these linguistic gymnastics and create logical fallacies to back up this weird contorted view of Christianity. Agreed, Joe does a great job. |

My new favorite way to pray the Rosary is using a $10 Kindle book from Amazon displayed on my computer screen. I usually read along at my own pace, but I have also played Fr Mark Mary saying the Rosary on YouTube while reading the Kindle book, pressing the Page Down button (or the mouse) to turn pages . It has a new picture for each Hail Mary and Glory be to the Father. Meditating on the mystery is easier and enhanced by the art. I set Kindle to Two columns, Wide Format, Font six on the scale, and black background. Sometimes it takes a bit of tweaking the settings to get it to display properly. Here are few samples. We continue our prayer intentions for Piglet and his mama, the whole family, they have just taken her back to the hospital due to possibly another stroke. The man of the house is struggling as well to keep all of this together and provide for them at the same time. He is a good man in a tough spot. |
