Is there a way to get transcripts of text messages from cell phone companies?

I'm sure the phone company can, but they won't give them up to anyone except LE or the feds.

Not unless you're a member of law enforcement.  And then most private companies only keep them on file for about a week.  There was an article that hit on this subject the other day over at Gizmodo.  Here's a link.

I knew LE/Gov could get them I just didn't know if joe blow could get them from his cell phone company for his phone.

Stupid douche too, since those were city owned pagers intended for official business, he and his so-called Chief of Staff didn't have standing to claim invasion of privacy.

If you're going to fool around with a coworker, don't use the company phones or computers to send your flirty little notes.
