I saw a commercial for Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Beginning.....

Well, it has R. Lee in it, so it automatically has one redeeming quality.  I'm pretty sure he was in the last one, too.  I have never seen it, either.  Well, I think I saw the thirty second version re-enacted by rabbits.

So, was the first one good?  Worth watching?  Is this one going to be worth watching?

It brings up an interesting thought, too.  Sequels (and prequels...) suck, as a general rule.  Sure, there are exceptions, but the vast majority just suck.  But, is that because...
1) they really do suck, or
2) because you have some idea what to expect walking in and it doesn't meet your expectations?

So, should I watch them out of order to see which one is better?  You know, in the name of research...    Or would I miss something important to the story?  Something tells me there is nothing really important to these storys.

Thoughts?
