Those are all Surefire 100s, correct? I count fifteen on the floor, and one of the rifles pictured has another one loaded. 1600 rounds, not counting the other rifle pictured that appeared to be chambered in 7.62... Sweet Jesus I'm not someone prone to speculation, however, based on the timeline I wonder if he offed himself shortly after shooting through the door at the security guard? My point is that this could have been much much worse had he been able to expend all of his ammunition. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'm sure people will appreciate Stephen Cloobeck's $400k donation, but talking about automatic weapons when he clearly has no idea how they're acquired is foolish.

Lots was done at the state level. Even in Colorado. Gun control is dead at the federal level for now, but expect blue and even some purple states to try something. Let us see what they do. We saw her yesterday at one of the press briefings, Carolyn Goodman. Only real reason she is the mayor is because of a long-lasting Mafia empire. There are aspects of this case that are well outside of the normal scope of mass shootings. |

The target was largely made up of Trump supporters. 4. Point #3 provides the opportunity to inflict massive harm on those that oppose him ideologically. Bonus for using their beloved second amendment and “assault weapons” being used against them. He gets to show what they can do and hopefully divide the right on one of their core issues. We all know 23+ weapons is excessive and this further fuels the narrative of an Arsenal. The media will obviously beat this topic to death, after all how could one man amass something so deadly? 5. The media is being suspiciously objective during this and fired one of their own incredibly fast after a rogue tweet. They’ve fueled decisiveness for months and fear backlash from the public. 6. The feds and local PD want to let things cool off before releasing these details in fear of retaliation. That’s why they’re slower in this case than they have been in the past. GD Logic: All mass shooters have one of two possible motives, Islamism or Communism. When there is no hard evidence to establish one of the two GD-preferred narratives, that's because the government and media, acting together, covered it up, even though "we president now." It's a self-proving conspiracy! Yeah! Never mind that most U.S. mass shootings have no connection to Islamism or Communism. Never mind that nut jobs often act out of multiple motives. Never mind that we've yet to confirm that pink pussy hat protester is the shooter or even that the shooter worked at NASA. Never mind that not even the internet sleuths have found any evidence of an actual Antifa affiliation. Maybe we should give it 72 hours or so before we decide there's a cover-up of this guy's motives. If he had a leftist political motivation, it will certainly be soft-pedaled by the media. But I think it's early to be jumping on the conspiracy bandwagon. How many are truly absolutely random? |

I'm beginning to think that he was a rich libtard Fudd that decided to make a statement about how dangerous he believed AR's to be...in an effort to get them banned. Why else would the guy bother to haul 23 AR platform rifles up to his defilade position when 3 or 4 would have given him back-ups at each window and sufficed for his purposes? I'm beginning to think he was trying to illustrate a point that he believed nobody 'needs an evil black bullet hose'. The guy knew he could pass the NICS checks, could legally acquire a buttload of AR platform rifles, could equip them with slide-fire stocks, buy large capacity magazines and ammo...and use all his legally bought stuff to kill lots of people. He was trying to prove a point. The guy puts me to mind of a lot of the libtard trolls that come to this website to try and push their anti-gun/anti-hunting/anti-2nd Amendment/anti-American rhetoric. I really have no way to substantiate my theory, but the more stuff I hear about the circumstances...the less looney it seems to me. I think the guy was trying to get black rifles banninated. Maybe his video of the shooting will lend more to the narrative of why this coicksucker did what he did. YMMV View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Some of you honestly think the killer's goal was to weaken gun rights? That's pretty far fetched. His brother mentioned he had guns during his move to NV several years prior. This guy loved his guns. As distasteful as that sounds it only serves to prove that the 2A was not his target. Furthermore, those that think the killer brought a bumpfire kit as an attempt to get legislation against poor man's mgs are off their rocker, imho. I've been eyeballing them for 20 minutes trying to make head or tail of them.
Don't think they're magazines. Too flat in my opinion. Too long, too, and not quite the right shape. Or color. Unless paper-wrapped, but still, not quite the right size. I'm wondering if it's packages of some kind of plastic explosive. What does tannerite look like? ETA - Duh. It's boxes of ammo. White boxed, commercial. |

The screams for gun control have started. But the left needs to accept the fact that there will never be gun control in this country thanks to Obama. When Obama did nothing about the Sandy Hook massacre of children he, ipso facto, became the countries biggest champion of gun rights and the 2A. The left can whine all they want, but Obama made their bed, and now they have to sleep in it.
By this time next week the tragic LV massacre will be all but forgotten by the MSM. The impotent left will go back to doing what they do best, which is obsessing over Trumps tweets, Melania’s shoes and Russia. |
