Terraria. Ive played quite a few hours already. It is a 2D side view game. You can mine and build stuff like in Minecraft, but it has cool RPG elements as well. Watch this video to get an idea of what the game is like; there is an entire series with these guys if you enjoy it. The game is $10 on Steam.

picked it up last week when it was the midweek madness sale for 5$

was going to originally pick it up for 5$ during the steam sale but forgot, was glad it came back up cuz i do enjoy minecraft and it looked pretty fun.
