Does anybody know if a series of books was written based on the Terminator series?  If so, how were they?  I love the series and have always been a fan of end of the world kind of books.

S. M. Stirling has written several Terminator books, available at Amazon.  I have not read them, but I have read other Sci-Fi things that he has written, and those are pretty good.

I read the SM Stirling set and they were okay but nothing special.
