Mark Steven Compton passed away April 19, 2009 due to a heart attack.

I was lucky enough to get to shoot with him several times. He had a beautiful collection which sadly he recently sold off to other members because of scarce work.
It was good to hear he got to attend a local gun show the Saturday before.

Rest easy my friend.

Wow. I just saw this thread.
I bought Mark's PTR-91 in Feb. of 08 off of the EE.
I am sorry to hear of his passing.
I will think of him every time I shoot it.
