Sorry if a dupe, but:
Tea Party Going Mainstream

"The poll of 1,033 adults, conducted March 26-28, found 28 percent of people call themselves Tea Party supporters..."

I dunno, 28% supporters is starting to sound like a viable third party...(??)

I wouldn't exactly call 1000 people a reliable sample size. Still, good to see people are getting fed up.

Tea party members are everyone and no one. They are only part Republican, only part (Reagan)Democrat, mostly Independent, even if not called independent by party.

They are ALL pissed and there is hell to pay. The debt is due this November.

a third party will fuck us all.  even if 60%  are against the dems you could end up with 30% voting rep and 30% voting third party  and the dems 40% wins, even though most want them out.
