What do you guys think of the Taurus Millenium for CCW use? 12rds of 9mm in a gun a little smaller than a Glock 27.Polymer frame with DAO and external safety.. I know safeties are not liked but I prefer them on a ccw gun, since I am more likely to get it snagged playing with kids, just normal life stuff where the trigger could accidently get snagged. Besides the Bad rap taurus gets any owners have opinions on them? |

I've had one for several years. I usually shoot JHPs through it, several magines worth each time I go to the range and can't recall having a problem with those. The last time I had a problem was several years ago when I put 86 rounds of Wolf through it before it stovepiped on number 87. It's not my first choice for carry, but the size and 11 rounds is nice when the situation dictates something smaller than my Sig P226. I can literally drop it into a coat pocket and with the safety and long DA trigger pull I don't mind carrying it that way. |

They are great carry guns. I had the 145, and it was easy to shoot, accurate, comfy etc. It was one of the first gen, and I sold it because of the early gen frame-cracking issues. It was too bad, because I liked it. The newer gen are g2g from what I understand, and the frame issue was never a prob on the 9mm. I think for the $$$ they are infinitely better than Kel-Tecs. |
