What do you guys think of the Taurus Millenium for CCW use? 12rds of 9mm in a gun a little smaller than a Glock 27.Polymer frame with DAO and external safety.. I know safeties are not liked but I prefer them on a ccw gun, since I am more likely to get it snagged playing with kids, just normal life stuff where the trigger could accidently get snagged.

Besides the Bad rap taurus gets any owners have opinions on them?

i've had one for 3 years.  i have maybe 2-3k through it.  compact, light and reliable.  probably the gun i carry the most.  never had a problem that wasn't ammo.  i like the manual saftey.  i have an alessi holster and i litterly forget i have it on.

I had one for a while.  I did not mind the long trigger too much but the slide would lock just on its own at weird times.  I didn't like that so i got rid of it.  YMMV

I've been carrying one for years, but will replace it soon.  The lousy trigger makes it impossible for me to both rapidly and accurately; I can do one or the other, but not both.

I had one for a couple of years. Sold it when I was hard up for money for school.

Lousy trigger, but it ran flawlessly, even with Wolf.

I've had one for several years. I usually shoot JHPs through it, several magines worth each time I go to the range and can't recall having a problem with those. The last time I had a problem was several years ago when I put 86 rounds of Wolf through it before it stovepiped on number 87.
It's not my first choice for carry, but the size and 11 rounds is nice when the situation dictates something smaller than my Sig P226. I can literally drop it into a coat pocket and with the safety and long DA trigger pull I don't mind carrying it that way.

I carry a 9mm PT 111 as my primary CCW.

Small, compact, "hammerless", 2 magazines.... Fobus paddle holster...

Never had any issue with it and it has a lifetime warranty.

Many people complain about the trigger but for a $300.00 DAO auto I'm not going to bitch.

They are great carry guns.

I had the 145, and it was easy to shoot, accurate, comfy etc. It was one of the first gen, and I sold it because of the early gen frame-cracking issues.

It was too bad, because I liked it.

The newer gen are g2g from what I understand, and the frame issue was never a prob on the 9mm.

I think for the $$$ they are infinitely better than Kel-Tecs.
