I am looking at getting a tattoo here in the next couple months and I have a few questions. I know what can happen to a tat if you gain a lot of weight, but what happens when you lose some weight? I am talking about on my upper right arm.

Just get the tat and stop worrying. It will look the same as it did the day u got it unless you arm is the size of cow and then suddenly shrinks to an ethiopian starving childs arm in a few days.

If you're looking at possible dramatic weight loss ala stomach stapling or something, I think I'd hold off until you've stabilized.
