[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tail light problems.

I've replaced the right tail light 3 times in the last year on my jeep and it keeps going out. The brake light and blinker still work fine. any suggestions?

Funny..... i go through MS 3 times a month.... Maybe I am doing it... lemme know if it goes out tomorrow

Someone told me to put vasiline on the connections.

Is the taillight gasket keeping moisture out? If it leaks and lets water in it could mess the bulb up or cause some corrosion. Check the ground on that light for corrosion as well. I don't know about vasoline, I usually use dialectric grease on electrical connections to keep moisture out. Similar stuff I guess.
