I think Cheaper than dirt,com has a couple "Korean war"-styled vests for like 40 bucks. Personally I went to am Army Navy Surplus store and built my web gear piece buy piece. Belt for $6, suspenders for $5, pouches for $13, canteens for $5, canteen covers for $12, I think the buttpack was 15. I did this week by week, spending 20 or so bucks at a time.

Would you spend $140 on a Blackhawk vest? Blackhawk is having a sale on the OD or Camo vests (not black). If you check with a dealer you should be able to get the Urban Assault vest for under $140. No, I'm not a dealer, but I just bought one. (Edited to put in the details in case anyone cares.) |
