Any input? No, I won't be buying an apple product but thanks for playing.
It appears that wal mart has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for $169, is there any reason why this isn't a good deal? Primary use would be to run Garmin Pilot A lot of people like the nexus but the lack of SD card turns me off a little. The above app needs quite a bit of space for the charts etc. |

was a lot of talk on here about the Hisense pro for around $120 at Wal-mart. If I remember rigjht it was about the same specs. Search the forum. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hisense-Sero-7-Pro-7-Tablet-Quad-Core-Processor-with-8GB-Memory-M470BSA/25427874?action=product_interest&action_type=title&placement_id=irs_middle&strategy=PWVUB&visitor_id=40788951769&category=0%3A3944%3A3951%3A1078084&client_guid=aaf06269-f0ae-497a-ab7b-f4538ecb0077&config_id=2&parent_item_id=24805141&guid=746bac56-ed53-4f8d-b5c1-38afaef81c1d&bucket_id=000&findingMethod=p13n |
| Thanks for the heads up on the sero...unfortunately local wal mart only had the lite version ($79!) and I'd rather have the 8GB version. The pro seems to get good reviews, unfortunately no feedback on how it works with the pilot app... oh well at that price if I don't like it I guess I could just use it for browsing around the house or whatever. |

Works great with no issues. Plenty of room with a SD card. |

Well you get like a 15+ day return policy, so you can just try it out & if it doesn't work, then return it </a>
It works great & is an awesome deal, but I would rather have a 10" version. Why oh why haven't they been released yet?!? <a href="http://javascript:oUtil.obj.insertHTML('<img src=http://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif />');" target="_blank"> Quoted:

The only thing I wish was different is the fact that it uses a 30 pin plug for charging, not micro USB like every other device in the world

The $79 'Lite' version has less memory, lower screen resolution, only has a camera on the screen side of it, and has a dual core processor. The $129 'Pro' version is a quad core and has cameras on front and back (and higher resolution). Both run on Droid operating system. The $129 'Pro' seems to be a better deal, considering what you get for the price. The manual says the limit on the size of the microSD card is 32gig, but larger ones will work if they are reformatted to fat32. I've pretty much decided to go ahead and 'root' mine (unlocks a few things and makes it easier to customize), but I'm still researching which 'root' option would work best for me. |
