This is an emergecy communique from Shotar's bunker. The power is out, the ice storm has been unleashed by the cannukian halliburton illuminati weather machine. Power lines are down, internets are down, phones are down. We are on a single K-1 unit for heat. It looks grim. I made it briefly to a remote terminal to post but can't hold out long. I must return to secure the bunker form hoards of ravaging obamatrons from the city. Damn it sucks. The power company says we might be offline for another 24 to 48 hours. No internets, no American idle, I won't be able to see if I won anything in the giveaway. Mother nature shook her fist and I lost.

Yeah - we lost power here in VA a few weeks ago. It was freezing outside, and the power was out all day. By pure coincidence, my portable generator - which managed to power four big space heaters I have - broke about 2 minutes after the power came back on.  Fingers crossed that you'll have power back soon! |

Happened for 6 days in August of 93. This however is winter. I gotta keep the pipes from freezing as our normal heating methos is recirculated hot water heat which of course requires an electric pump to recirculate.
