TRIFECTA
President Obama just completed a unique TRIFECTA: 1st president in 110 years to miss the annual Army-Navy Football Game. 1st president to not attend any Christmas religious observance. 1st president to stay on vacation after a terrorist attack. Add to that the first President not to stay in Washington for Christmas for the last 20 years. Past Presidents did not leave Washington for Christmas vacation until after Christmas.This was done so that their staff (Secret Service, Air Force One Crew, Limousine transport, Presidential advancing logistics etc.) could be with their families for Christmas. He is such a class act. |

Dupe and buy a membership. Hadn't seen it and "No" Why? Wife does not work. 15 year old daughter in Private High School. Private Piano lessons Private Percussion lessons. Actual tither at Church. I like to hunt and shoot. I like to spend money. Saving for retirement. I have little to no money left. No cable TV Few trips out of town. Watch spending where I can. I was a Team Member for a year and it was fine. I really did enjoy it. I still enjoy ARFCOM as a lowly "Member" I am however a "Fully Erect Member" if that counts for anything. |
Ever since ESPN (who really ought to have known better) used "trifecta" to describe anything they possibly could that was grouped into 3s in any way, a few years ago, it really just grates on my nerves something fierce when people toss the term around in a like manner. 
Maybe it's just me, but damn it's irritating. |
