Whats the Output Shaft Length on the TH400 3-speed transmissions that are in the 1987 M1008 CUCV Pickup trucks? (K30 style, 1-1/4 ton, 4WD, NP208 transfer case)

1.5 inch, 2.5 inch, or 4.5 inch?

Need to know so I can order myself a replacement transmission. Blew up my last one.

same size as a Super T-10.  I know this because i used a TH400 yoke.

The turbo 400 is a very beefy trans...

but doens't it depend on the transfer case?

i do need the length in inches though so I can order it through the local O'Reiley's. Theres a price difference, as well as the mechanical difference.

you might try pirate4x4.com

Those guys know their shiz. I'd bet a TH400/NPG208 is a unique combination, and O'Reilly's computer catalog is listing all possible options...i.e. TH400/2wd or TH400/other xfer case.

IIRC All the ones I have seen for the Turbo 400 were roughly 4.5" but I could be way off, cant you just compare when you pull the old one out?
