Who has tried them? Which is brighter? Looking at the SF G2 and the Stinger.  One lists candle power and one lists lumens.  There is no conversion table though.  Anyone know?

First off, I have an UltraStinger, a Scorpion and a SF C3-HA.
The UltraStinger is the brightest, but it's the largest too. If you're looking for a pocket flash, it wouldn't be a consideration. However, there are a lot of different models of Stingers. Some are in the size range of the SF-G2. The SF-G2 is about the same size as the Steamlight Scorpion. Either one would be good choice. The replacement bulbs for the Scorpion are a lot cheaper than the SF. They are about equal in light output. The Scorpion has an adjustable beam. It also has a rubber sleeve. Mine needs to be "massaged" up every day, as it has a tendacy to slip. Also, if you adjust the beam to tight focus, there's a small gap between the sleeve and the head.
The C3 I have is a 3 cell version of the C2. The C2 would be comparable to the G2 in size and brightness. The SF has an optional bulb that puts out twice the brightness, but reduces run-time to about 20 minutes.
The Stinger is rechargeable, the Scorpion and G2 run on lithium batteries.
I won't even attempt to give an explanation on lumen vs. candlepower.
