Do you reload? You might be able to find some load data for sub-sonic loads.

i'm just curious how heavy of a bullet do they use to get it sub sonic?

Do they have much stopping power?

I believe there are only two or three mfgrs of subsonic 5.56, hence the high price(s).

The guy I get mine from reloads himself. He says he uses Pistol Powder ? to achive needed velocities to be accurate and stay sub-sonic. I am hunting Hogs at night with a suppressor using conventional ammo most of the time which is really not too bad ,but still loud enough to scare them off after the first pop. The only subsonic rounds are like $ 5 a roundhock.gif figured the hafta be cheaper some where?

Figured I was being jacked up on the "Pistol Powder" special load crap !!!
but yea that's about what he gets for them so I am told..did not buy any from him yet -figured I better ask around first.....the few rounds I did shoot were given to me by another hunter....
Thanks for the Hook-up !! Gopher711h.gif
