Not a single word of the canon was changed because of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Quit making things up.

What about  books that were taken out or left out prior to that?

Irrelevant?

Changes are being made to the Biblical text, as evidenced by the links I provided.

The canon?

We have no actual words from the formal prophets and apostles... So we do not have the original canon.

The Dead Sea Scrolls are forcing changes to the text of Bibles... Read the links...

The Nicene Creed is apostate doctrine... Jesus is The Son of God The Father. Two separate entities of the Godhead. And there are plenty of scriptures that back-up that claim.

Ancillary teachings that are not necessary for salvation? Probably not very many scriptures...

It's interesting that many say the verses in Genesis and Ephesians must be taken figuratively:

"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

But any verse claiming God and Christ are one must be taken literally.

Yes, they are irrelevant.  The canon is settled.  God settled it, not men.

Psalm 119:89 Forever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in Heaven.

And what proof do you have they are irrelevant?

Faith?

The Bible is true because it says it is?

The Book of Mormon says it's true as well,.

And how many books have been removed or added since that Psalm was written? At what date did it suddenly become "settled"

Keep teaching the false teachings and concepts created at the early Christian councils.

Don't need too.  There have been exactly ZERO "changes" to the Biblical canon due to the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Stick to talking about the false teachings of Mormonism.  You don't know what you are talking about regarding the scrolls.

The links were to not-LDS, "Christian," sources... Two different sources that claim that Bible has changed due to the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Dead Sea Scrolls prove many aspects of Latter-Day Saints beliefs.

But this sword cuts in both directions. While we have far more evidence to work with, if the Scrolls taught us anything about Old Testament scripture, it is generally true that the older the manuscripts the more varied they become. Simply put: human scribes were not photocopiers and no two manuscripts are the same.

I’m 70 years old and I’ve never heard the Dead Sea scrolls brought up in any meeting.

Some Mormon Scholars seem to still be making the claim.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxFWMzde2TY

Here's one where a former Mormon details how the LDS Church actively kept this from them in "Sunday School". She then says that she and others are later sent to seek the answer to this question by seek various "padded Church resources".

The whole thing is good, but her statement starts @3:35 or so.

Let them say what they want.

I try to follow the teachings of Jesus and everywhere I go it's always the same arguments, none of which bring anybody closer to God.

If everyone exited this conversation it couldn't be too soon.
