HK-G3/91, just because of the beefiness of the action.

Id go with a g3 but ive heard good things about m14 in regards to pressure tests. Fals are a bit stretched to their breaking point

Is that why the 7.62 CETME is a thing?

AR-10s handle extreme pressure very well.

I thought it was the other way around.

Heavy barrel AR10 with steel magazines will be pretty hard to wear out.....
You'll be humping MANY times your weight in ammo if you plan to melt a well built AR10

I'd go AR-10, because of the self-regulating nature of it.
G3 would be next, because recoil operation can generally take some stupid pressure levels (such as the MG34/42/45/53/3)

By that logic then the aluminum of an ar10 or plastic aluminum hybrid of the scar are plenty beefy

Type 99 7.7 Arisaka built by Japan. Any guns in the list would explode at 160,000 psi, the Arisaka won't.

AR10. The action is exceptionally robust.
Surprised to see so many people go for the blowback option in the poll. I like the platform reasonably well and the action works great; I'm just not sure I want to go with an unlocked bolt design as my nominee for strongest rifle action in any given category.

I voted M14 due to the size of lockeing lugs but I'm not really sure.
FALs are really stout.
DSA has tested the older forged receivers to some super high PSI before.
The bolt and carrier on my Armalite AR10 does seem really beefy.
I like them all

Lol, I want the lightest, most reliable action if I've got to hump .308.
Mount that robust shit to the truck.

Ask yourself; which one of these has a successful, belt fed variant that is widely used in the military and has been for decades?

I'd go with the AR 10 so far as its ability to handle pressure goes.

G3 it's a hefty sumbitch. Christ you have to slap a cocking lever to slam it home. It's definitely a smack it around like the bitch owes you money type of rifle. Can't think of a dainty part on it.

I had a round of the old Cavim recalled ammo explode in my Dad's HK 91. It did fine. With nothing but a bulging magazine to show for it. I was peppered in the face and hands and arm with fun hot stuff.
