Anyone have any decent luck out of a string trimmer that costs under $100? I guess I am in the market. |

No, but if you want a good one that is fairly inexpensive as far as "good ones" go, try an Echo. Try and find a used Echo for around $100. I just bought a new 225 the other day and love it. I've used several others in the past and this one with the U-Turn head is the cats meow. |

They are made in America by well paid Americans down in Virginia Beach. The are built to last and mine have always treated me very well. I'm pretty sure one can be had for $150-$175. Or you could spend $100 on a Chinese made Walmart string trimmer and replace it every few years and help fund China's development of a blue water navy. Your choice I guess. |
