 I was sitting at 1,999 titles for a couple days, waiting for the perfect game to come along for #2,000. I finally decided on Hotline Miami. I'm a sucker for quirky games, and this definitely looks like it will fit the bill. It certainly looks unique if nothing else, and it has received rave reviews. For some odd reason, I fell from 1,999 to 1,996 titles over the course of the week, presumably due to a change in the way steam counts DLC, soundtracks, game guides, or some other oddball content. I also picked up Deadlight and Giana Sisters along with some DLC to get back up to 1,999 before making the big purchase. |

You should go set your profile to public, and go put it here: http://www.steamcalculator.com/ and get a grant total of what your steam account is worth (how much you paid for all the games in total).
I'm no where near your total, I'm at like 85 and worth a few hundred lol. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-40k lol. ETA: On my stats page it shows 120 games. My library shows 120 games. When I plug my account into the calculator, it shows 70 games. Total: $1080.31 ETA 2: It seems that it gives you a total dollar amount of your games based on "current" prices. So if you bought a game at full price, and then it dropped to say $10, well, you get $10 added to your total instead of $60 lol. |
I have 200+ but they are mostly more expensive and big name games. I don't buy many indy games. |

SteamCalculator.com is missing a ton of titles, so it reports 1,103 games worth $14,888.74 (trust me, I paid nothing close to that). The Steam Profile Analysis page (http://www.lambentstew.com/webblog/miniproject/steamanalysis) reports 1,264 games, so it's all over the place. |

Because most games today take only a few hours to complete =P. |

I have only 73 games and many of them I bought because there was a Steam sale for less than $10.
It's hard to pass up AAA titles that normally sell for $50+ when Steam has those flash sales. And probably like most people I only have about four of the games in my library installed at any given time, and I'm usually only playing one of them. Right now I only have Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Left 4 Dead 2 and Walking Dead installed and I'm really only playing Borderlands. |
