Airplanes have mechanical trouble all the time.  Be it an old Cessna or a $2B top-of-the-line bomber.

We spend *trillions* on much more frivolous "stuff".

Hate to see that, but when I look at what the gubmint takes out of my check each week my only condolence is I like to believe I am buying military hardware for our brave service members to protect this great country- really.
